Ryan Tannehill’s Absence Leaves Titans’ Fate in Rookie Will Levis’ Hands as Steelers’ Kenny Pickett Fights Rib Injury

The Tennessee Titans will be missing their quarterback Ryan Tannehill in their upcoming game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Tannehill has a right high ankle sprain and hasn’t been able to practice. Instead, rookie quarterback Will Levis will be taking over for Tannehill for the second time. Steelers’ quarterback Kenny Pickett, who left Sunday’s game with a rib injury, is expected to still play. Titans coach Mike Vrabel had hoped Tannehill would recover in time, but unfortunately, he wasn’t able to.

Levis had a fantastic NFL debut last week, where he threw four touchdowns in a victory against the Atlanta Falcons. There is some uncertainty surrounding wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins due to a toe injury, and his status for the game is questionable. Both Levis and Pickett are mentally prepared for the enthusiastic ambiance at Pittsburgh’s stadium. Pickett’s rib injury could potentially impact his throwing technique, but he remains determined to take the field.
