Embiid Responds to Harden’s Claims and Remains Focused on Success with the 76ers

Philadelphia 76ers’ Joel Embiid has responded to James Harden’s recent remarks regarding the 76ers holding him back. Disagreeing with Harden’s assessment, Embiid stated that they consistently gave him the ball on every possession and allowed him to make decisions. Despite this, Embiid acknowledged Harden’s significant contributions to the team, particularly on offense. In the previous season, Harden led the league in assists, whereas Embiid dominated scoring and was crowned the MVP. Unfortunately, the 76ers fell to the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference semifinals. Following the loss, Harden requested a trade and eventually found himself on the LA Clippers. While Embiid expressed happiness for Harden’s resolution, he firmly believed that the situation was beyond their control. He remained confident that the team still had a chance to achieve success together. At present, the 76ers hold a 3-1 record in the current season, and Embiid stressed his unwavering focus on winning and putting the team in the best position to do so. He continues to trust his teammates and aims to ensure that everyone is working towards a common goal.
