Inter Miami CF has come to an agreement with Grêmio’s Luis Suárez for a one-year contract, which includes the option to extend it for another year. Although the contract has not been officially signed yet, reliable sources have confirmed the deal. Suárez, who is currently the leading scorer for Grêmio, will leave the club after the conclusion of the Brazilian Serie A season in December. Speculations about Suárez moving to Miami started circulating during the summer, as he expressed that the demands of the Brazilian league were taking a toll on his physical condition. Gerardo “Tata” Martino, the coach of Inter Miami, has openly stated the club’s interest in bringing Suárez onboard. Notably, Suárez has previously played alongside renowned players such as Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba during his time at Barcelona.
